God luck, Sandy!

I helped a friend build an RV-6A, and it was a fun and rewarding experience, though very time consuming. I haven't read up on the details of the RV-14, but working on a project like that should be priceless. An RV is a huge step up from a 150. At least you still have Sassy to fly while you're working on your project. We bought the 150G while my friend worked on his plane for a few years.

I understand you reasons and all that but...

Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Ok, got that off my chest. Enjoy the project with your dad. I'm sure there will be no regrets.

Thanks Sandy for reminding us of what is important in life. When we look at our aircraft, they have been the "vehicles" of adventure, new friends, and exploration. The path traveled and the one ahead with the gathered experiences will open new horizons.

Good for you. Although my father passed many years ago, it reminds me to spend more time with my kids and adjust my schedule to fit into their busy schedules before we both run out of time and energy.

Great selection on the RV14, an amazing airplane.

Best wishes,

John

The woman speaks the truth! I've made my best friends through this club. Heck I even married one! Besides...doesn't buzzing the cornfields in a 300 hp RV sound awesome?

Sandy, I know how much you loved Lulubell, they become like your kid.
I was building a pietenpol with my Dad( WWII Pilot)) when he passed, I could not work on the plane to finish it. Time spent with someone you love- priceless.
