My wife was injured in an accident and I need to sell my plane.
Here are some of the improvements I have made to it.
· Rudder AD complied with, 11/09 · Replaced original equipment seat belts with new, upgrading to shoulder harnesses, 2/10 · New Warren Gregoire SX-101 push to talk grips, 2/10 · New wheel bearings all the way around, 9/10 · McFarland engine heater, 10/10 · New tires and tubes, 12/10 · New encoder to replace old failed unit, 3/11 · New McFarland fuel vent tube, 4/12 · New Tempest spark plugs, 4/13
Know issues. Mostly deferred due to my finances. · Transponder certification is due. I don’t fly inside the Mode C veil or rent my plane out so I haven’t gotten it done yet. According to my PCAS, it’s working fine. · The Slick magnetos (4301) are due for their 500 hour IRAN. · The original equipment seats really need to be recovered (current pilots seat not original, see below) · The left muffler is missing its internal baffle (I unknowing bought it this way) · Windshield is 40+ year old original equipment and isn’t cracked but is somewhat crazed. · Slightly out of rig. (Ball not centered) I haven’t been able to find anybody nearby that I would trust to rig it correctly. · Usual Continental oil leaks.
Things that I’m going to keep that might be in the photos are my Zaon PCAS unit, SPOT locator, my GoPro mounts, headsets.
I also have a spare standard propeller, (no tag), O-200 cylinder, (no tag), and the original broken pilots seat. The seat needs the frame on it welded up.
I was thinking around $13,500 but the first $12,000 takes it. I have been told this is the worse time to sell. Many think the market has bottomed out but I’m not so sure. I sure don’t see it growing anytime soon. At least domestically. I hear the export market is going good though.
I just am getting to the point that I can’t afford to keep it anymore. Attached should be some photos.

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident, Red. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
It looks to me like somebody will get a bargain when they buy your C-150. Your price seems awfully cheap compared to what I have seen. Good luck and God bless.
I hope her injuries are not severe and she has a speedy recovery.
Good luck on the sale. I know you had been struggling with that decision and if delivery becomes an issue, just whistle as I'm sure something can be worked out.
