I am hard pressed to believe that is an original paint job. Doesnt really look like anything Cessna put on the 72. I could be wrong, but those stars on the tail give it away.

He gave the interior a 7?

Not with that green rug in the back, and the I-don't- know what color carpet in the front.

I'm thinking 5 at the most.

Not really thrilled with the stars, but the rest of the paint looks really good, if it's original, which I seriously doubt

Red Lower panel, Green rugs and orange paint.
Original? I think NOT!
The paint scheme looks like it was a copy of the 1980 model 152's.
The 72 models looked more like this:

No, that is not the original factory paint.
Strange, recent paint in that condition should be a selling point in favor of the seller, and should be advertised as such to increase the asking price. It actually looks OK- I would only have to have the tail repainted.. sick

Agreed Niall, the problem I have is what else are they wrong/lying about? Maybe they just dont know the airplane, but it makes me raise an eyebrow. Just a tad bit fishy.

I e-mailed the seller and questioned the "original" comment. Here is his response:

"My mistake, I will have to look in the logs to see when it was painted. Interior may have been changed some. I doubt these are the original seats, but the guage layout is original. I sure some gauges have been overhauled and the EGT was probably added. Has a new nav/comm. I would just have to check the logbooks."

So whom ever buys the plane,"Check the log books". Wonder why he didn't do that before developing the listing.
