When my Cherokee underwent an engine change, the mechanic discovered that she apparently had the wrong engine mount. So I (sigh) bought the right one and have had this in my basement ever since. I don't see any sort of info on it besides the tag pictured. Any ideas on how to find out exactly which mount this is, what it could be worth and how I can get it out of my house for that?

Many thanks,
Catherine

How did he know it was the wrong mount? Is there a part number on it?

If no visible part # is there any documentation in the logbook stating if/when the mount was replaced? Any part #s documented or receipt/yellow tags/8130 for it?

Bill, I don't see a part number on it. Any idea where to look?

I'll check the logs again but I don't remember seeing any for the mount. I think the 160 hp was installed around 1980. We'll see!

The part number should be stamped in the metal, probably on the strut tube...
