Hey everyone, I have a used KX155 Nav/Comm with glide slope(28V) and a KI 206 VOR/LOC/GS indicator w/tray for sale. Both were removed serviceable from one of my company aircraft that received a complete Garmin updgrade (SL30 and a 530). These are in great condition and work and look almost new. I'm asking $1600 USD for the pair, and I may consider splitting them up if someone is interested. I thought I would give any club members first crack at these before listing them on Ebay.
Thanks for looking!
Mark

That's a helluva good price for a 152 driver.

The KI206 can be used in either 14v or 28v systems, as it is powered the same from either voltage radio. I believe the 28v KX155 is easily modified to 14v (by moving an internal jumper), but check with your avionics shop before purchase.

A gift...
I think so...lol,

As for using a KX155 in a 14V system, I talked to my local avionics shop and they say no it can't, it has to stepped down externally.

Nope- King units are either 14V or 28V...if it was 14V it would be sold......
.. to me!
grin

I'm surprised the 152 owners haven't snapped it up yet.

Thanks to the kind generosity of Mr. Jim Hillabrand I've got a second KX155 in my panel already, otherwise I'd be interested ...

I'm sorry I forgot to mention that this model Indicator,(KI 206) requires a VOR/LOC converter, a KN 72. I have one i'm just not a 100% certain it works. It worked fine when removed, I just don't know 100% and don't want to sell it if i'm not 100% certain.
I am having it tested monday and should know by tuesday.

My apologies, I should have mentioned it in my first post.

At any rate this is a great deal, c'mon folks! I have goodies I wanna buy for my up and coming 150 purchase!

It's a great setup. I know, I have the same thing in my plane. Someone snatch this up!
