Because... no matter which one you loan out, it's, (most definitely) possible to throw-a-rod in any of them!

I'm gonna use that one.....

They call her the halffast airplane. They fly Tigers, 182's ,etc. Don't know what they're missing.

Oops, I'm "7500" this thread, too. Back to Silverlining...

Bengie

Now that's funny. I'll have to remember that line!

There's a page on the club site that has photos of the Avcon conversion parts and the salvage airplane they were previously mounted on.

I'll need to get specs on the engine time and stuff but in the meantime the page is http://www.cessna150-152.com/N167BJ.htm

Royson,
I'm still waiting for a price <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

I haven't quoted a price for two reasons. I have several interested buyers for the airplane and don't want to sell the Avcon conversion out from under them. Since the airplane is due for an overhaul the combination package makes a lot of sense for the right person.

If I get the airplane sold without the conversion I anticipate selling the Avcon conversion parts in the Neighborhood of $6K, maybe a little less. Though the engine condition is unknown, it is probably worth at least $2K-$3K all by itself as a core, and may be worth far more depending on condition. The Avcon conversion currently sells for about $8K, so I figure half price for used is fair.

Regarding the PM messages, unless you check "Save a copy of my outgoing PM" you won't have any record of what you sent.
