Stayed at my place for two nights. Then, I flew from Arlington to Albuquerque one day. Albuquerque to Vegas one day. Vegas to Klamath Falls in a day, and then, one more hour on to Grants Pass the last day.
I could have made it in two days, but I decided to fly over Palo Duro Canyon in Texas, Shiprock in NM, Four Corners monument (and circled it twice), San Juan River, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Page, Marble Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Vegas, Death Valley, Furnace Creek, Bishop, Yosemite, Tahoe, Reno, and everything in between.
It was a trip I'll never forget as long as I live. And, I made life-long friends in the process. It just doesn't get any better than that.
