1987?????????

I cant even begin to imagine the corrosion issues, I FLAT DONT BELIEVE THE NO CORROSION CLAIM...The engine is probably junk....

The Oil looks like NEW? Yeah sure it does wink

Sad airplane..not worth the money to pick it up IMHO.

Perfect for someone with.....

An A&P school that needs a "donor" airplane to be "studentized"
Would be great for the semester on "corrosion control in aircraft structures"

I'd be a contender on this one.......if the landing gear fairings had not been removed. smirk

You notice it is a Sparrowhawk 152. whistle whistle

This will be interesting to watch. Somebody sees the potential in this airplane and there may be a bidding war (they showed their hands too soon... shoulda waited until time was almost out). Maybe a pile of corrosion, maybe not! Definately restorable... the only question is time and money.

"" Airplane was abandoned at closed airport since 1987 (last recorded annual). ...... There are no logs for the aircraft. ""

Last annual was 1987, but no logs for aircraft....
Doesn't that in itself raise a big red flag?
If no logs, who's going to remember an annual being done or who did the annual 24 years ago.

But look at the tires, they're not even flat.

Yeah, I'm with you John, if the tires had been flat, I wouldn't have been bidding whistle whistle after all, with the tires pumped up, they must be looking after is smirk right....
