Interesting...and the price IS affordable. Don't know anything about the Coot.

Might be worth a look.....

Anybody familiar with this plane?

Bill,

OK, got my latest TAP this afternoon. CH701 add is still there. Very nice looking plane. No price (never a good sign).

P.S. been kind of curious about that Carlson Sport Special. That could be a hoot! And for short money.

Hadn't heard about that one before ether. Think I'd be adding some sponsons if I bought it.

Agreed. Those wings are a little too close to the water for MY comfort.

I like the boat trailer thing, though.

Just throw the budget out the window, and pull the trigger, Bill.

Yes! that is very cool. Just drive it to your local boat launch. Think you could do some removable sponsons and not interfere with its ability to fold up. something simple like the Sea Ray has.

The Coot does look very interesting. But it's unfortunately just like most other LSA's. They just did not plan in a large enough baggage area for our needs. frown

Yep! We've considered the Champ, Wayne. Definitely could be fun. But we have pretty much decided on Experimental for the freedom..............

With the wings so low, the Coot would be impossible to dock. You'd almost have to drive it up onto the beach.
