Yessirree. Totally agree. The plane that is being offered for sale is a real beauty. At least in the pictures. All I have heard is good about Rans aircraft. But it appears the S6ES has very VERY limited baggage room as initially designed. But that may be modified or changed. Which is an advantage of Experimental. I will not have to ask "Mother may I of Big Brother. I need to see one up close and personal. Working on that!

The Sky Ranger is looking pretty good also. It apparently has a larger baggage area. And has a higher useful load then the Rans. The one being offered is only 30 miles away. So hoping to get up close and personal with this one here real soon.

I'm building one, but I don't reccommend that if you want to get in the air soon.

Do you know one already built that is for sale, Jon?

Not at the moment. They do come up for sale once in a while. The guy at Wagaero who knows everything and everyone doing these projects is Tom O'Neil. Very friendly. I'm on a Yahoo account, I think its called "Wagbuilders" and there might be someone there who knows. I'll post an inquiry and see if there is a responce. If you can register there you can follow up as well.

SOLD!

Wow! That was quick.

Congrates Bill and Justina.

Someone got a darn good airplane. I had the opportunity to fly it with Bill in 2006, and my desire to own a 150+ HP cessna 150-152 started that day.

Good luck on the LSA selection and purchase, Bill. I feel you are doing your studies.

Wow! Is there an unwritten rule out there that people that fly LSA do not need baggage room? All we are looking for is a space 27 x 20 x 19 (inches). And so far have not found a single airplane. We are finding Light Sport Aircraft with nearly 700 pounds useful load. But yet little to no baggage space?

We may be forced to keep the 150 as long as we plan on the dog traveling with us...........

It's sold with the understanding that we need to find a suitable E-LSA for replacement. Which now is looking to be a lil harder task then originally anticipated. crazy

Bill, fly to Sun n Fun and look around, they have lots of options.

I personally would keep Mr ED untill I was forced to change.

That`s my plan for now, if my health gets bad, I will ether quit flying altogether or go LSA.

I love my Cessna

Bill, My flying buddy has a Rans S-7. The guy that builted it put in plastic gas lines from the gas tank to the firewall. I assume the gas lines came from the factory. The gas line broke where the wing, fuselage fit togeather, under neath the skylight. Good thing for him he had just landed when the engine quit.
