Hi, I'm a new member and am considering an aircraft in the Dallas area. Any recommendations for someone to perform a pre-buy inspection?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi, Jeff. Welcome to the club! Where exactly is the plane located? I'm in Arlington, between Dallas and Ft. Worth. I may know someone where it's located.

I might also know someone to fly it to California for you, too. Lots of commercial pilots running around here without work. Some may even fly for food. grin

Hi Gary, The plane is located near Corsicana, TX. Please let me know if you have someone in the area who could have a look.

Thanks for welcome wishes!

Hey Bob, yes it is and yes I was. I was working in Sydney for most of last year and brought my wing with me to fly at Stanwell Park. Great location - beach landing, sea eagles doing mock attack drills on each other and steady lift.

- new guy (still hoping to find an inspector %; )

Hello, Jeffrey, and welcome to the club.

I'm Philip Mitchell, and I am in Arlington, Texas. I am not an A&P mechanic, and don't know anyone in Corsicana, but I'll ask around.

See you at Clinton.

Jeff, do you know if the plane could be flown to Arlington? I've talked to a couple of people, and everyone is too busy to go to Corsicana. I still have one call that hasn't been returned. Just curious. And...you say it's NEAR Corsicana. is it actually at KCRS?

Welcome !

I just purchased a plane from the Dallas area and advise against using US Aviation in Denton. On a happier note, I flew down commercial to pick it up, and flew it back to the DC area. Sixteen hours of flying and a very memorable trip !
