Thanks everyone for the good comments. A couple thoughts, I have. First, I would like to thank this group for the videos on YouTube. After I watched them, I just knew there was more to this group.

Second, I think I know the answer, but I will float it out there just to make sure. Currently there are two 150/150 listed. One on the clubs classifieds, the other on barnstorms. One has mid engine time, but looks like it needs avionics (radios/transponder), probably interior in general. The second has high time on engine, 1750hrs. Panel looks ok. My initial thought would be towards the high engine time with a overhaul in the next year. Someone else posted with engines, you never know really what you got, so an overhaul is not really a bad thing. Replacing radios/ transponder/interior would I expect cost about or close to a engine overhaul.

Also there's a 152 on the classifieds, I did the document search, and it has had three major incidents, I saw the word inverted in one of them. I can accept some history, but three seems like a lot, and the price seems premium. My first reaction is to run. Am I wrong about that?

Nothing says this one won't need an overhaul next year.
