Sorry for all the individual replies. Guess I could have combined them!

Not sure what to tell you about me...I'm an RF Engineer currently with Ericsson. I have 2 boys, 3yr and 1yr. The 3yr old is often my copilot and the 1yr old will be once "don't touch that" actually means something to him. My wife flies with me occasionally but not enough to spring for a 4-seater. My dad was ATC so I was exposed to aviation early. I've been an airplane "geek" for as long as I can remember. I finally decided to go after the dream in 2009 and get my private. Aside from flying I love photography. It's great that I can combine my 2 favorite hobbies!

I'd love to head up to Clinton this year if I can swing it but will most definitely be at Sun-N-Fun this summer. I hope to meet a bunch of you!

There's another picture-taker-type-guy on here, too. Funny thing, he also resides in FL!

I've got tons of them on my FB page if interested. Naturally I'll friend anyone from the club.

Also, I have a YouTube channel with some boring flying videos. Since you all are most likely airplane "geeks" like me you might like them.

Greetings Mike! Welcome!

I know Ferguson Field well -- I used to base out of Destin, now up in Carlisle, PA. Lots of great little fields down around P-Cola!

Hope to meet you one day...I also fly with my young son and he enjoys it as much as yours seem to.

Best of luck with your new plane!

Warm Regards, Mike Marra

Welcome Michael: Thats a mighty good looking airplane you have. Happy for you.
I used to live in Pensacola. Well, at the Naval Air Station many, many years ago.
I was back there about 8 yrs ago and went on the air station to go to the National Naval Air Museum. It was great. I would love to go again but probably never will considering my advanced age!!!!!
Also I checked it out and my old barracks and the old photo school building was still there.
Great memories.

Welcome Michael. The performance you are getting sounds great. My 150 usually indicates about 92-95 KIAS this time of year at 2550 rpm.
