However once licensed, a jumper can jump with as much or little clothing as desired, including shoes.

These planes used at parachute centers usually live a very hard life with a lot of takeoffs and landings, and the engines are worked hard as well with frequent hard climbs and then a mad dash to beat the jumpers to the ground to take the next load up.Approaching 900 hrs, this plane could need six new cylinders because of the way it operates. I wouldn't expect any more avionics than one comm and a xpdr/encoder. The ad seems to have left a lot of the normal info out you would put in an ad selling a plane....perhaps the barefoot girls make up for that omission!

That is probably where it will end up! Jump planes do lead a hard life though, no doubt about it.

The plane. The babes. No, the plane. Next time I stop for burrittos at Zunigas I'll see if I can find the jump school and the plane, and I'll report back. Remember, aside from the fact that it's been beat to heck as a jump plane -- it's also located right next to the Pacific Ocean with lots of salt sea breeze -- which is hard on airplanes. | | | | Jared_Chursinoff Unregistered | Jared_Chursinoff Unregistered | Maybe that's true in Canada. Good to hear, so is the recession not effecting California as much? Excuse me? This place is about to crack off and fall into the Pacific. Yes, the recession is affecting California. The state is broke. But, lots of good flying weather. BTW, I'm seriously considering an early morning round trip flight this coming Saturday for pancake breakfast at AOPA Summit Airportfest at Long Beach airport -- weather permitting. | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 4,768 Likes: 3 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 4,768 Likes: 3 | Jared, Have you ever lived in Washington State, by chance? Hmmm. Why that question? Reg | | | | Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 1,005 Member/1000+posts | Member/1000+posts Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 1,005 | Jared, Have you ever lived in Washington State, by chance?
