That is the lowest I have EVER heard - CONGRATS. New club record?

My mechanic's rate for a 150 owner assisted annual is $300. But since he charges me travel from his home airport ($90) and we usually take care of some repair items (it was a seat rail last year), the bill is always a bit more.

This year we will do bushings on the pilot side rudder pedals.

If you think $300 is low, how about these numbers for an annual inspection:
1990 $70
1997 $75
2001 $100
2002 $100
2003 $100
2006 $50
I couldn't find receipts for later dates but I know the fees were in the same ballpark. These do not include supplies such oil, ELT battery etc but still, not bad. Of course, I felt obliged to give a generous tip for such a bargain price.

We pay anything from 1200 to 2500 here in Canada for Annual Inspections.

Keep in mind that the inspection price does not include the cost of repairs. Annual inspection and repair are two seperate actions... and can be performed at two separate facilities by separate mechanics. A fact that can come in handy when you don't like the estimate from the first mechanic.
