I didn't know about any of that! shocked

The current owner's name sounds familiar, but I can't say I know the guy. Registered in 2008, so probably not the one that crashed it. Wow! Needs an engine, wings, and who knows what else? He's gonna keep this one for a long while asking $15K! I had a chance to buy one in airworthy condition for $14,500! laugh

I've flown a 175 with the 180HP constant speed. A real performing machine. Though, I was surprised of how narrow it was. Definitely shoulder to shoulder. It's rumored that the one I flew is for sale again.

We keep looking over the other side of the fence at possibly getting a different airplane. One day it's an experimental with folding wings. Another it's something fun like a biplane, L-bird or woody pusher. Then possibly something a bit more comfy for cross countries like a Cardinal. Though recently every time we watch "Family Flight" Justina has been doing a bit more then usual talking about liking the lines of the Navion..................

How much ya wanna bet ten years from now we'll still have the 150?

Me too, Bill! I really envy the open cockpit biplane guys, but the only ones I could ever hope to afford are homebuilt (I have this "thing" about other people's hidden work)! I've looked at other 100 series Cessnas and flown a few, but none are as fun to fly, inexpensive to operate, and as versatile as a 150. I can take one for a 30 minute joy ride, or on serious cross country flights if need be. Navions were already getting hard to find certain parts for 30 years ago.

If I had the money for a Navion, I'd buy a couple of Globe Swifts (after restoring my 150's)! laugh
