I know the House, I know "The Room" - although I spent more time at the washing machine on the opposite wall laugh , I know the red ute, but not the cubular thing - I think I might even recognise the Mexican Resturant.....

.... all of which does not help to work out the reason for this thread

(though I have, heard a rumour grin )

Well, I just flew in from California, and boy, are my arms tired!

Actually, my arms, my legs, back, head. I have a tale to tell, but for now...I am a zombie...

...and the proud new caretaker for N3397T. I told Heather 97T had been called Dory after the blue tang character from Finding Nemo; it will be keeping the moniker.

I took as many photos as I could with my iPhone and my 120 film camera. There were several times the bumps and throes of my travels precluded photography, but I do have several. When I get the film developed, I'll share any I think are worth showing, but in the mean time, my first generation iPhone gives images that have a character that I liken to Brownie Hawkeyes and the like. I will write up my travel experience very soon, but I am very tired (I'll explain later). Here's a couple for now from the journey from Cali to Arlington, TX:

OH, and I've got a little 150 that will go to a happy home for $10,000. I'm not going to be able to keep two planes, even if I wish I could. So if you know anyone looking, it is something to think about.

One last thing I wanted to say before going further:

I know many of you know this, but I just wanted to say Royson and Lori are first class people. They are the kind of people we all wish there were more of in the world. Getting this plane would have been fun no matter what, but with the two of them, it was personal in a wonderful way.

Thankyou so much Royson and Lori!

Congrats Nathan. I have had my eye on that Cardinal for quite a spell now. Almost jumped for it a couple of times. That roomy cabin and those gorgeous lines were really calling. The Cardinal is simply the most beautiful single engine Cessna out there. Thanks for putting me out of my misery. I am sure it will be quite a sweet bird for you.

Congrats Nathan! I'm glad you were able to get the Cardinal. I was beginning to think it wasn't going to work out.

I hope to see it in CWI next month!
