I have camped several times, but i have never camped at a fly-in any tips???
John, once you decide what all you want/need to take to CWI for camping...if you realize it's too much stuff...just remember you can do what others have done in the past: Ship some of it to the airport, then back home.
Suggestions:
GOOD light weight tent
Air mattress & pump
Sleeping bag
Blanket or foam to insulate between bag and mattress
Pillow
Wash cloth & towel
Flashlight
Bug spray
Snacks, powdered drink mix, etc.
Toiletries
Small cooler
Collapsable water container
Basic first aid items - asprin, bandaids, beer, etc.

Light weight rope, clothes pins
IPod, small radio, etc.
Light weight rain poncho
Soft silicon earplugs - in case Poobs is camped nearby.
*these are the silicon "drops" by Mack or CVS.* other types too uncomfortable for sleeping.
I've done TONS of airplane camping and consider these the basics. Not everyone would necessarily agree.
