Hi everyone,

I had a great time at Clinton and enjoyed meeting so many of you!

I have also had had several inqireies about the metal panels and got to thinking it would be a good idea to offer a "Clinton Special" on the panels. This would help me get the word out about the panels and at the same time allow me to keep the cost down by cutting seveal panels in the same run.

The prices are $250 for the top set and $250 for the lower set. I will be collecting orders until the end of the month, then cut them all at once, which will help me keep the cost down. Shipping will be another $20 and the panels will ship bare aluminum, not finished.

If you are interested, I will need a picture of your panel and will need to know if you have the raised lower left corner of the VSI (same as the Altimeter) or if you are going to intall New Lights, or other "bezel lighting" which will change the cutout template for a more finished look.

Just a reminder for those of you considering metal instrument panels; Monday is the end of the month and the end of the "Clinton Special." I will start cutting the panels Tuesday.

Cost is $250 for the pilot and co-pilot panel set (including the eyebrow if applicable) and/or $250 for a lower metal switch panel ($500 total for both). This price is for unfinished (bare metal) panels and $20 will be added for the cost of packaging and shipping.

Well we are making the move on up -- Wilbur will be sporting a new panel!

I have contracted Bill and have been sending info on his equipment and cannot wait to see the results. Not only will I get rid of that cracked plastic (yuck!) but I am taking the opportunity to give him a little darker color scheme. Will still stay with the white/blue/red but this will be much more attractive than the faded colors he features now. I think I am going to opt for the powder coated finish -- sharp and durable.

Below are pics from the pilot side so you can see what I am going to replace. Will make some posts as the project continues!

Wilbur and I are psyched!
