Ended up not needing it. $85 plus shipping. In eastern Pa I will install it and sign off AD for an additional $150.00 (RDG) at your airport depending on location additional for gas.

Steven,

I am in the market for one for a 150F and a 150M. I understand they are different. If the one you have is appropriate for either one, I am interested.

The kits for the F and M models are the same. The differences occur in the 152's where later models went to the cast bulkhead.

If it's a kit for the sheet metal bulkhead, then it'll work on both the F and M model 150's.

Gary,

"If it's a kit for the sheet metal bulkhead". If I understand correctly there are 150 kits for something other than "the sheet metal bulkhead", what are those other kits for and how do I know which one I need?

The wording can be a little confusing, but there are only two kits. SK 152-24A and SK 152-25A.

The 150's that are affected by this AD have a sheet metal bulkhead, thereby requiring either the placard or the installation of SK 152-24A.

The early 152's with the sheet metal bulkhead require the same kit. The later model 152's with the forged bulkhead require either the placard or the installation of SK 152-25A.

There is only one kit applicable to the 150. SK 152-24A.

Just installed the 152-24A kit on mine. Word to the wise, if you want to avoid taking the rudder off, once you remove the old bumper plates, don't attach the new bumpers on the horn until the new nutplates, doubler, and bolts are installed. The horn is the easy part.
