Ok, I'll own up to it! I'm into trikes, but the Wife says I have to mow the grass before I can ride!

but the price was right at under $20K................. It has two seats.....................and does this on less than 2gph

Now, that is a pretty bike, Jeff. Looks like much fun! Should be a real blast tearing across the Alvord with it!

But, I just gotta rib you a little. We own a VW Jetta with the TDI diesel engine. It carries five people, all enclosed and also was under $20,000. Now the fun part!!.......... It burns....................are you ready for this?..................One gallon per hour! Yep! One gallon! Our highway averages have been around 60 MPG.

Just had to have a bit of fun there! But, Justina and I have also been considering going this route. The only difference would be Justina would not be content riding in the back! She would require your own!!

Ooooohh Bill,
My wife's got the 91 Jetta VR6. Hers is closer to 24 mpg but, ya gotta love 200hp when you need it!

Carl,

I saw that old Honda sitting in the hangar, and saw that you have a riding mower, might make for a cool project between planes!

Greg,

G'day,

To be honest, I don't have a clue how much it weigh's but its not that heavy that I can not lift it up and sit it in the passenger side (with the seat removed). I would imagine it weigh's around 30-40kg(66 to 88Lbs) but thats only a guess - might actually find out now that you come to mention it. The biggest problem is trying to chock it, and tie it down so it does not roll forward or backward during flight.

It make for a good getabout though

Cheers

Jeff,
Now you need to bring that shiny new bike, along with a few dozen rice rockets down to the Tennesee, Georgia , North Carolina area and try it out... here. [tailofthedragon.com]

318 curves in 11 miles and it eats crotch rockets.

If you look real close, on the front fender of my old Ninja there is a dragon sticker. I got that after I rode the "tail of the dragon". Lots of fun!

Looks like fun. We have a couple of similar roads here in Eastern Oregon, but not as commercial (and certainly not as pretty). I accidently got my 35' Motorhome on one a couple years back. Now that was fun....all up hill too. The bikes did NOT appreciate me that day.

Bryan,
I went back and looked at your bike and could see the "dragon" sticker. Congratulations on getting through unscathed. I made a bunch of them up for a buddy of mine who's in the Triumph club. Made 'em with the Triumph logo and dragon combined for those who made it through without any roadrash. I'd love to see the dvd's they offer for sale. I'll bet it's pretty wild looking.
