Priced reduced to $24,000 for Cessna 150-152 members and those who learn of it on this site. It will remain listed for another month as $27,000 on Barnstormers.

I’ve added about 25 hours on the plane since the listing below – flew to Florida and up to First Flight. Here's the original sales post with the photos.

I'd beat all of you to it. That's the perfect candidate for floats.

Jeff...why don't you see if John would trade you. He could drop your avionics suite into his Zenith, then sell the corpse and come out ahead. In the process, you would get a real Alaskan Bush plane.

You are right about John's airplane, Jeff. But, what would Mr. Hersom do without all that eye candy in his panel to show off and brag about!

Bill, let me answer that with an analogy.

I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara now. Very nice, plush with molded side running boards, car like tires, cruise, AC and carpet throughout. This works nicely as a daily driver and is often referred to as a "Mall Crawler". I recently went with a "JEEP" club group (forum) to Virtue Flats OHV park, where I learned a lesson. When the guy in the CJ with 42" Swampers, 8 inches of lift and full lockers front and rear says "I think you can make it"....RUN AWAY in your "girlie Jeep" because you can't make it. You will trash a running board and you only hope that the scraping underneath your newish Jeep didn't leave parts on the trail.

Now...apply that to airplanes. In Alaska, Jeff has a "girlieplane" with his nice avionics and 100 hp engine. What Jeff NEEDS in Alaska is a "hairy chested, knuckle dragging, gorilla plane" otherwise known as a 150/150. All of the other fancy stuff can wait.

So....Jeff...when are you calling on the 150/150.

every time i go off road in my 04 wrangler, 33" swampers, 3" lift it cost me a minimum of $600. I haven't gone since i got 46s, flying is definitely cheaper, safer and more fun.oh yeah , my 150 is faster, The only one that tells me it's ok You can make it"is Ruffo when we play golf, and i know if he can get in and out, i can being a LOT lighter and w/STOL
