I'm sure you've seen Shelby's website detailing the extent of the restoration. Truly a remarkable work of art, and certainly a labor of love even for Shelby.
Good luck with the purchase, and we hope to see you in Clinton in July. Try to plan for Oshkosh with the group if you can make it.
Welcome aboard.

You'll make too many other club members jealous, and you'll be completely spoiled.
Now...if you insist on going through with this foolish transaction, I could help you out. I'd be willing to trade airplanes to ensure that while you'll take to the skies...your ego will be far more grounded.
What can I say...I care.

This is great news that 73J is staying in the family here. Jeff did a marvelous job on the restoration and you'll be one proud owner. It's one of the nicest birds in our fleet if not the nicest. BTW, your XC trip flying her back home will be fun to follow. Jim

I plan on documenting the X-Country to share with everyone. I am sure it will be the biggest adventure of my lifetime.
Thanks for all the comments guys and I look forward to being active in the club.
