I called and they said it sold this week for 27K. He said they had a nice aerobat sell for 22K.

Looking at it, it doesn't look like an O-320, but hard to tell as the pics wouldn't open for me.

The pics were small. The shop owner said it was an 0-320 tho.

Would you really want to buy an airplane with an engine that went through an overhaul paid for by an owner who was about to get rid of it????

Depends on the circumstance. Would you buy a freshly overhauled O-235 engine (with 35 hrs) for $10K from someone who spent almost twice as much for the overhaul?

Hung's right on this one. It all depends on the circumstances. For all we know the engine may have been sent out to a very reputable, well known engine shop for the major...or not. I wouldn't be too quick to pass judgement without all the facts.

Well? I purchased Mr. Ed with around 60 hours on overhaul...........

But, the exhaust in this picture looks like O-200, not O-320?? That cowl looks too short. And it's operating illegally without a spinner...........
