It's very nice, to be sure.

Funny how the price doesn't seem as bad. When it was for sale 2 years ago, I think the initial asking price was about twice what Indy Aero is asking for it. There were a couple of price reductions before the plane sold, but I'm not sure what the final price was.

Stephen,
Welcome & what a wonderful step forward in your life, moving towards PPSEL. Sad about your wife.

Interesting you posted because I was just looking at this airplane also. You can see more details in the club's April 2007 Airplane of the Month article. Eric is/was a club member (#3477) but I see he has never posted.

I was specifically looking at the dual wing mounted landing lights (just like Harvey Hartman's airplane). I am just starting this mod. on my airplane (currently has landing light in the nose).

Good luck & hope to see you sometime @ Clinton.

Hi Stephen,

Welcome.

I couldn't agree more about the dream plane. Sadly I'm like you and the timing is not right for purchase now but as others have said there will be plenty of others for sale when the time is right.

That plane was for sale at the same time I was in the market for the one I own now. 36k?? I recall it being alot higher asking price though, somewhere between 50-75k! I wonder what the story is??

Though I DO NOT have any idea about the current condition of this airplane if it doesn't have any skeletons hiding in the closet it is a bargain at the asking price.

I have more than twice that in my 150/160 Aerobat, and I still have the original paint and interior.

We featured N8367M as airplane of the month in April 2007 because of it's many upgrades, eye catching paint scheme, and rarity.

Again, if there aren't some hidden problems that effect airworthiness, this would be an ideal choice, and a bargain. I might have to consider it myself.
