Does anyone have a better recommendation than TNWINGs for precut carpet. Their price is better than anyone else I've found and per other posts their quality is excellent.
You can't beat TNWings for quality stuff at a decent price. Here's my carpet replacement [members.cox.net] from TNWings. Click on the photos for larger ones.
I used Shelby's carpet from TN Wings, and loved it.
Avoid Airtex. It sags horribly and doesn't stand up to any kind of wear at all. It's easy to spot an Airtex interior carpet job. the carpet is all bunched up around the fuel selector knob and front post lower ends.

I just replaced my carpeting with the precut from TNWINGS and it looks great. The carpeting comes in 4 separate pieces, 2 forward foot pieces, 1 middle section that goes under the seats and one luggage area piece. I did have one problem with the middle sections with the seat rail slits on the carpeting being precut two inches too short. Being very cautions, I hesitated about enlongating the slits, figuring that I must not be doing it right--------how do I undue the cutting if it didn't need the cutting after all. I did call TNWINGs and he was convinced that I did not do the fold completely by the second floor raise. So, after a great deal of frustration, I did elongate the carpet slits and everything went fine after that. Wil Stougnton,WI
I installed an Airtex carpet kit in 57J. I wasn't really crazy about the fit in some places, but overall it turned out OK. I think I may have Shelby make my headliner. A mistake in a headliner would be harder to hide.
