And I would get the added benefit of making it just a little more comfortable for Poobs too!

If I exercise all possible skill, I can get 500 fpm out of Juliet with a cruise prop and something less than 100 hp (old style cylinders) if all the conditions are right, including solo and half tanks (300 fpm most days).

I am with you on the cabin air vents. Would like to know where he got them from. He got them here: Airflow Enhancement Kit [ planeplastics.com]. Aircraft Spruce sells them a bit cheaper. They're made by VenTube [ ventube.com]. In addition to the two cabin openings, they provide a third that mounts in place of an inspection panel in the tailcone. The third vent acts as an exhaust for whatever air flows out of the cabin vents into the fuselage.

Hate to beat an old drum here folks...but, outside of your shores, these things are worth some serious coin, with what is for sale around here at the moment, even after the conversion, that is a cheap aircraft for how well it is equipped and a 152 Aerobat, and........ still less than half the price of some of those LSA things with restrictions attached
Sorry, didn't mean it to be a "Wake up and smell the Coffee" thing, but seriously, have a look around on some of those international aircraft sales sites and you'll see what I mean - an aircraft down here of that stature is easily pulling those dollars and more. I know of a company down here that just bought 4x 152 from the states, why, cause its cheaper than buying them here, I'm sure our European friends will agree - seems a fair price to me
Cheers

The US pesos/world currency exchange rate probably has a lot to do with that too. | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,873 Likes: 3 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,873 Likes: 3 | Price doesn't seem too far out of line to me, especially now that his reserve has been met and the bidding is at $38,600. | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 18,962 Likes: 3 Member/15,000 posts | Member/15,000 posts Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 18,962 Likes: 3 | Thanks Carl,
