I actually did bid on Erics plane (before I knew it was his) It was wallowing well under 10000. so I kicked it up to 10000.00. It would of been a real good deal at that price, but it didn't stay there.

I think the buyer got a pretty good deal. Maybe just a bit high for a 150 that is out of annual and needs an overhaul, but the alternator, regulator, prop overhaul, and two cylinders all have less than 20 hours on them. In my mind, that is worth something. With a major overhaul, he'll have a fine airplane and won't be into it for an outrageous amount of money. If he does just a bottom end and gets another 500 hours out of the top, then he got a heck of a deal. I already recommended that he join the club and look into the forum.
Of course, it might not be too upsetting if he backs out.
