I have a set of wheel pants. New in the box, unpainted. Unfortunately no hardware. I paid $1,000 but will take much less. If you are interested please make me an offer. Thanks.
The work was done by the now late Mr. Michael D Kallioskoski. He was the OWNER of Devils Lake Aircraft Service located at the Devil's Lake, Morth Dakota's Municipal Airport. His Aircraft Services specialized in AG repair, did Annual Inspections, Mayor & Minor Repairs and Heliarc Welding.
According with the official and legal history of the airpalne he bought the Aircraft in 1993 from the owner of a Salvage Company in North Dakota, Waynes Aviation. Then it worked on it on/off for ten years until it born again on May of 2003 for a new life in The United States. Prior to that, the once-up-on-a-time new Cessna 152 went to Canada and was registered up there under C-GARJ.
Indeed the owner/builder/restorer did a good job overall specially by installing a 125HP Lycoming engine with a Sensenich climing propeller. The engine only have 223.5 hours while the frame have over 8000 hours. I have added another picture of the re-born bird.
Henry, indeed I am interested and now I am pursuing several clues that has been provided by the generosity of the great members of this club.
How about if you send me some pictures? Is the set of the three? Are those fit the 1979 Cessna 152? Do you have ANY hardware? You said NO however I may ask you that if you got the set in the first place do you intended to installed on which airplane?
My e-mail is: salvadorcorona@qwest.net and my phone number (541) 472-8400. My e-mail address and my phone line are open for you.
Thank you for your wishes, I am looking forward to enjoy a safe flying.
First I will be flying my new airplane to gain my Private Pilot License, currently I am an Student Pilot and receptive to learn from every body as I go along into this new life for me in the skies.
I am switching hobbies from being a Race Car Driver with a National & International Racing License to a License Private Pilot like all of you as well as to be an airplane owner.
Thank you for your kind message. In regards to the blue cone it was painted in North Dakota in 2003 as part of the color skim when the airplane born again, right after it was sold for $34,500.00 to a buyer and citizen of Grants Pass.
Although I do not have yet the privilege to met personally Mr. Fife, we have talk in the phone and from 1 to 10 he is 100 like all of you to me, just like you a HUNDRED!
We're about the same age, Salvador (I'm 58) and I've been involved with aircooled VW's all of my life, and even did a little impromptu racing and pit crewing in my youth, including driving an early Bradley GT [bradleygt.com] and a Formula Vee [veesportracing.com] for the local VW dealorship in Somerset, Kentucky! I still own 2 Ghias and 2 Beetles, and an unbuilt original Meyers Manx dune buggy kit.
I checked again, and found your name on the Bradley GT website! You own a GTII? Nice cars, but I prefer the Form Vees!
It was nice to heard from you this way. Indeed I like cars too and I have a 1973 a Mustang Mach I fully equipt from the factory which I bought it brand new in Arizona for $3,288.00 dollars. Also as a new car I bought a brand new 1979 MGB and I paid $2900.00.
Well I still have those cars along with a Bradley GTII, on a Volskwagen chase. In regards to race cars I own a Formula Atlantic, a Lotus Formula Ford and a Zink Formula V. Just your favor I take it.
In regards to an age, I am a 61 year old teenager and currently learning to fly. I just got my Student Private License and I have proudly three hours on my official log book. May I ask you for how many hours of flying you are ahead of me?
As you know by now I have bought a 1979 Cessna 152. Its interior and exterior are rated 10 and I think it is the airplane that I has been looking for although I still like the one from Missouri.
I am attaching a couple pictures of two of my race cars. In the Formula Ford I am racing at the Portland (Oregon) International Raceway while on the Formula V, I am racing at the Seattle International Raceway (Car #99). By the way my cars are for sale whitout any advertizing yet.
