Excellent, Hung. I'm going to read all of them. Seems like I recall some severely foggy mornings....

Emotional excitement? Me? Never!
And if you'll buy that, I've got some ocean front property in Arizona! Darned right I was excited when I bought mine. I had a buying buddy to help me think straight...and I can whole-heartedly recommend you finding one, Charlie. Of course, I knew I was going to buy the plane long before I even laid my eyes on her. Pretty much, my buying buddy was all but useless. He told me later he would have bought her if I didn't! Naw, Wayne W. was the most awesome buying buddy ever. He knew I was going to buy the plane, too.

It's okay to admit to being giddy about buying an airplane. Just remember to set aside some money to fix things in the first year of ownership that you didn't expect. I hadn't had mine here at Arlington for two days before I had things torn apart under the cowling. Little things...and a few not so little. But, no regrets.
The Page, Arizona fly-in was simply amazing. Talk about a great time to be had by all, it was waaaaay incredible. Hopefully the stories Hung linked will impress that upon you. Look for it to happen the last week of May or first week in June next year. Seemed to be a good time to have it.
Good luck with your new plane. Let us know how the buying process goes. You'll want to have a bill of sale form from the FAA with you when the seller signs the back of his registration. Again, congratulations on the new (soon to be) addition to your family.
