I coined the phrase decades before composite airplanes were common. I maintained a fleet of company vehicles, including Grumman step vans and cab-over Peterbuilt tractor-trailers.
The Boss was always bragging about his 1973 25th anniversary Corvette. Well, it broke down on him, and he wanted me to repair it. I was fed up with him AND his car, and told him in front of the crew that I wouldn't touch one of those "plastic pigs"! It got a WHOLE lotta laughs, and he never asked me for help aqain. At least he was professional enough not to fire me!
