Had an experience recently with folks closing up shop prior to published times and no fuel available. My bladder is good for about three hours these days so a good cushion would be nice to have, if I have to go elsewhere. | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,362 Member/1500+posts | Member/1500+posts Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,362 | This is a club member that had a 150 for sale w/ long range tanks. the last time I ran across an add I think it was down in the high teens (18k)+- Not a bad plane interior was ok, needed paint. The "N" number is personalized.
Do I understand a search can be done using the serial number of the bird rather than the "N" number? | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 15,868 Likes: 977 Member/15,000 posts | Member/15,000 posts Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 15,868 Likes: 977 | Did steve get another 150? He sold the one he flew across the country in a couple of years ago and, last I saw, was flying around in a 172.

Internet searches can reveal old listings. If you look hard enough, you can find an ad for my plane from when the previous owners purchased it.
There was a 150 with long range tanks for sale around here recently, but I can't seem to find the ad for it. | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 13,969 Member/10,000+ posts! | Member/10,000+ posts! Had an experience recently with folks closing up shop prior to published times and no fuel available. what I would like to do is find a tired 150 w/ good wings w/ long range tanks for pennies on the dollar. Trade out the wings with Mr. Ed. And then resell the donor 150............. | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,362 Member/1500+posts | Member/1500+posts Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,362 | Then i looked up the wrong member, the 150 I looked to purchase last year is at Marlboro, It was still forsale last month.
