Can anyone in the South East Ohio (Columbus)area assist me in looking at a Cessna 150 that was advertised in the May/June 2007 issue of the Cessna 150-152 Pilot newsletter to just look to see if the 150 in question is worth persuing. I'm not asking for anything further than just a look. I'm in Toronto, Canada and am a member of the C-150-152 Club.
Tom Ingle (private pilot)(e-mail: tingle@ionsys.com)
PS): There are not nearly as many used Cessna 150s in Ontario, Canada as there are in the USA.
The seller's name is Greg Hopp (614) 485-6363 Days or (614)268-9025 Evenings.

Hey Tom,

Greg Hopp himself will be glad to take a look at it for you. grin He's an active participant of this forum.

Greg is an upstanding guy. You can buy from him with confidence. (Sure sounds like an Ebay ad) grin

Tom - What Hung said!

It's a great bird, seen it with my own two eyes, and Greg is a stand-up guy.

Tom, not that I can add anything regarding the 150 you're looking at,, My question would be, are you all up to speed on importing an airplane into Canada?

Yes, Greg's a good guy. He lives just down the road from me... well, actually about 15 miles, but you get the point. Anyway, Greg sold his 150 about a month ago.

Thanks guys, very kind of you to say so! And so sorry Mr. Ingle, Larry is correct, it did sell last month. I would have much rather have sold it to you as a club member though!

Welcome to the club, pull up a chair and let's chat! :-)

Tom, welcome to the club!

In case you missed the thread "Juliet", Reg Hearn is selling his 150 at a good price.

Thanks to everybody who let me know that Greg Hopp's 150 had already sold last month. I now have another question: do any of you know how I can get hold of Rob DettaColli who has been through the importing procedure - telephone number or e-mail address? Apparently he lives in Oakville, Canada, which is just down the road from me.
