Now you've got my interest! Will they fit a '67 G model?

Yes, the metal wingtips will fit many 100-series Cessnas. The end rib (in fact, the entire tapered portion of the wing) is the same on many Cessnas. The straight/flap portion of the wing was lengthened as required for different models.

However, as Charles will surely point out, the part # for the metal wingtip only applies to the very earliest models. The later models used various shapes of plastic wingtips whose part numbers supercede the earlier ones. In other words, according to the parts manual you can put later wingtips on earlier models, but not the reverse.

My A&P says that won't be a problem for him (I forget what he had in mind). Your mileage (and A&P) may vary.
