I'd like to make a comment on the use of the round gear
legs on the texas taildragger conversion. I converted my
C-152 into a texas taildragger 24 years ago using the
round gear. The width between tires is 100 inches, & if
the toe-in is correct @ 0 degrees you'll have no problems.
You will have problems if you have 10 degrees or 15 degrees
of toe-in. You'll hear lots of horror stories about this or
that conversion but pay attention to all the little thing
& all will be O.K!! Make sure that your tailwheel is set-up
properly & that it doesn't shimmy or shake.

I've never felt that this conversion was challenging or
difficult in any way. If you let your feet fall asleep
then LOOK OUT!!

That's my 2 cents worth.
