I, like Bill, am not a David Clark fan, but I've heard from several sources the newest DC ANRs are very well made, comfortable, and effective. The company does have a good reputation for customer service.

I think DC made the mistake of resting on its past achievements (and military contracts) while everyone else caught up and in some cases surpassed them. It appears that they have begun putting some real effort into upgrading performance and comfort in their newer offerings, so someone must have finally woke up and noticed their sadly diminished market share. Without the military it's possible DC would have gone under by now (at least the headset part of the company, if they make other things).
