Just heard back from the seller, who says he wants $8500 for the crankshaft.... "firm".
O-200 parts are becoming really expensive. My mechanic purchased an Ercoupe “ramp-queen” for not much more than that with an O-200 engine up front. He was offered more than he paid for the plane because the buyer just needed the crankshaft (the mechanic declined).
