1975 Cessna 150M for sale. TTAF:7600 SMOH:580. Roughly 150 hours flown last year alone. Compressions 74 or above. Will update when I get new compression numbers from current annual. basic six pack w/ skybeacon.

Purchased this plane last February to get my commercial and CFI. Now looking to work at a flight school and no longer need it. I’ve put a lot of work into this plane over the last year. My total maintenance costs are close to $24k. That’s not including any costs from the current annual that’s happening now.

Engine:
Reiff XP preheater installed February 2022
Battery replaced in February 2022
Fuel shut off valve o-ring replaced April 2022
Replaced carburetor with overhauled carb in April 2022
Engine IRAN in June of 2022 due to a cracked lifter found while installing the real gaskets push rod gasket kit. Bearings, camshaft, push rods, lifters, etc replaced at this time
Real gaskets push rod kit on all cylinders
Cylinder #4 was replaced with a superior millennium during the IRAN as the valve was starting to stick. Cylinders 1-3 are ECI cylinders
Mixture cable replaced with vernier mixture control
Left muffler replaced
Quick oil drain valve installed
Airform engine baffles installed (powder coated)
Skytec lightweight starter installed in October 2022

Airframe:
Plane was painted in 2010. Front and rear windows replaced at that time as well. Paint is in good shape. I have new strut cuffs that I will include in the sale as I have not got around to installing them. Previous owner replaced DG, vacuum pump, and alternator recently.
Right brake line replaced in April 2022
Nose strut rebuilt in April 2022
All tires and tubes replaced in April 2022
Corrosion-X applied in April 2022
WAT led landing light installed July 2022
Stall horn replaced July 2022
Rigging has been gone through. Ailerons and rudder cables re-rigged. Plane flies straight and level

Additionally, I pulled the plastic interior out this summer and cleaned/sealed any cracks/and painted all the plastic. While the interior was out I applied corrosion-X to the interior fuselage. Replaced the passenger side door plastic and window latch.

Plane always kept with a cover and rudder gust lock. Engine was preheated overnight anytime the weather was going to be under 50 at time of engine start.

I’ve put a lot of work (and money) into this plane. The next owner will get a plane that has had close to all the wear items replaced. Plane is currently in annual inspection and getting slick 4301 mags overhauled and electronics international R-1 electronic tach installed.

$42,500 OBO.
