I made a set of prop covers and they are working great. Used the legs from a $5 pair of kids sweatpants from Walmart. Turned them inside out, traced the prop onto it, sewed a seam to follow the tracing, and then turned them right side out. Done. And I can’t even sew.

They fit snugly and the ankle elastic from the pants holds them in place. They seem to help.
