I know some can't so this but keeping the 150 might save you some money. Getting a faster cruiser plane is good for trips and serious travel, but keeping your 150 for fun flying and local areas is my idea of the real joy of flying. I used to have a Experimental Wittman Tailwind for x-countries and trips, but also had a single place VW powered plane for local fun flying. My overall cost per hour was lower since I flew the Green Hornet VW one quite a bit. It burned about 3 gph versus over 7 gph in the Tailwind. Two airplanes are in my opinion a good idea.
