Speaking of trading up ...
I noticed that Civil Air Patrol has several C172P's that they're auctioning off in a few days; one in particular has caught my eye. I've already engaged an A&P to do a pre-buy/offer inspection and to review the log books. Has anyone had experience (either direct or through a flying buddy) working through their auction process ? Number of real bidders, any discount from retail, back end transfer logistics ?
Any insight would be appreciated !
