Make sure you are sending the correct rudder.
Dalton has an "M"model, the first year of the taller vertical fins/ rudders.
'75 '76 ' 77 and all subsequent 152's have same rudder
1974 "L" and earlier are shorter
Just got back home today. Yeah, I was thinking of the shorter rudder. Pretty sure I have a taller one too, but will have to check its condition.
My mom had a stroke Thursday evening. Miracle working medical team snagged the clot and brought it back out. Two days in the ICU, one day in the step down unit (where she finally started connecting short term memory again on the third day since the stroke), and now in a fantastic rehabilitation hospital. Her progress can be measured hourly and we're expecting her back home on Saturday.
The stroke was caused by affib allowing a clot to form in her heart. The affib was induced by the chemo and the clot prevention blood thinner had been prescribed at only half the regular dose... for no apparent reason.
Man, I swear the doctors are out to kill cancer patients if they're not closely watched.
Lots of stress and very little sleep. If I hadn't done the route so frequently over the last couple of months, I doubt I would have had the mental capacity to make the flight out there last Friday. A 310 isn't exactly the easiest light twin to fly and will keep one awake. Hauls ass too.
