Our 150 came with the cowling shield that partially blocks the front openings. It is plastic and screws on. It went on the 150 when ever temps dropped below freezing. We also have a heater that is bonded on to the oil tank which plugged into 110 AC. We would plug it in the night before we wanted to fly and the engine would be quite warm the next day. The combination helped make our winter flying much more enjoyable, even below 0 degrees.
