I have replaced mine last year with the Plane Plastics set. No problems but I didn't paint them first and left them the color they came with. I though maybe they might stain or get dirtier easier then if I had. So far they arn't. Do buy the ones with the arm rests though, as they sure make a difference flying long distances. I have made up a foam cushion that I set under my arm to steady my hand up to the yoke so I only move my fingers to take some of the work out it in turbulence. Sort of a poor man's auto pilot.
