Wow, that is the first tube gear I have ever heard of on skis. I see the cables are mounted quite differently than a flat spring gear. Perhaps a call to Wipaire is in order as they own the Federal ski rights. They may be able to provide the drawings and copy of the STC which I bought for I think $150, but will be a much different set of drawings for that setup.
Nose ski's sold alone are as uncommon in the US as lower taxes, or Sasquatch I looked for mine for 4 years or so, hence the reluctance to part with it.
It may well be possible to borrow one and have a few clones made by a reputable shop using the parts unavailable clause of the regulations. This may be somewhat easier in Canada.
