...nobody will pay that, but that's how Cessna parts are prices, NOT on original prices from the 1970's, but based on what a NEW 150 built TODAY would cost.
I'm sure Glen's original bracket was welded before, and doing that they eventually crack again. Make a new one, it's LEGALLY ALLOWED.
If your A&P chokes, get someone else.
