I'd be extremely cautious of what you advertise it as, 1) not being a PMA part and 2) the Friendly Aviation folks lurking on the web. Perhaps, this is why one of the aforementioned 'aftermarket companies' that was selling them pulled them from the market? Who knows. I do know they were available in fiberglass for a limited while.
Other than that, I think they'll sell GREAT!!!
Every single one of the metal nose models I have observed, have a series of patches from the cracking. Finding a suitable example to make a mold from may be problematic, tho....Sadly, y'all may have to purchase a new metal one to accomplish that feat. $$$$
