Maybe part of the repair was replacing the stock engine with the 150hp Lycoming?

I remember when I was looking for Cardinals to buy. I came across one '68 Cardinal that someone stole and ran it off the end of the runway. The owner at the time decided to upgrade the engine from 150 to 180hp as part of the repair.
