Almost forgot, David. One the airplanes I looked at last fall might be interesting to you. I passed it up because the TSO on the engine was over 1400 hours, but it's in otherwise fine shape. I know its still being flown regularly and I believe he still wants to sell. Its a very nice 1965 E model and has the heavy-duty nose gear you want. I posted photos on a previous thread:
