I sent my carb in for an overhauled exchange. The carb I sent them was a Marvel MS8-4240. I received a MA3SPA (part number 10-4894) in return. They said it was the latest and better. Is this the correct carb for my engine? I have the 0-200-A.
It seems to work ok except the carb heat drops the RPM about 250 turns and then I get tons of black stot on the left side exhaust stack. It's also impossible to lean the misture to get teh 75 RPM rise....it just goes straight to rough. We thought it was valve train related in the past but now wonder if the carb could be part of the problem? Your thoughts?
